I forgot to post this step. The drilling of the holes for the electronic controls. I first cut out paper patterns and placed them in the cavities. I then drilled 1/16" holes from the cavity side.
Now I can take this to my drill press and drill the proper size holes.
Here I have drilled the 1/2" hole for the 3 way switch.
After the 3/8" holes for the pots.
Here I made a slight change to the Les Paul prints. I am not use the standard square plastic jack cover. I will be using a Custom Nickle oval cover plate. On the Les Paul they center the square cover plate in between the binding and the back edge. So the cover plate does not over lap the binding. The oval cover plate I am using is narrower and I can center the hole the entire edge and the oval cover plate will miss the binding. I used a 7/8" forstner bit and hand drill to drill this hole. All the holes I drilled were done using Forstner bits.
